Abstract
In this work; history, structure, pathogenesis, pathology, clinical features, epidemiology diagnosis, prevention and treatment ofHCV infection, together with type I or autoimmune DM as regards to definition, pathogenesis, prediction, prevention and the association of
DM with liver disease and with infections were reviewed.
• This work involved a review of the clinical, biochemical and serological data of 200 serum samples sent to the immunology laboratory in Ain-Shams specialized hospital for checking of anti-HCV second generation ELISA. Depending upon the clinical investigation,
• 96 patients out of 200 subjects including 21 normal subjects and 75
patients with different diseases. All patients were divided into 5 groups
