Abstract


The research aims to study the campus open spaces, its physical settings and elements in relation with student’s needs, behavior and activities. Its objective is to reach an applied framework and a set of comprehensive guidelines for best usage of university campuses open spaces that meet those needs. This research and its proposed methodology will help finding out how to enhance the existing campus open spaces design and provide design strategies and guidelines to new campus area design.
