Friction Stir Spot Welding and Resistance Spot Welding of Dissimilar Aluminum Alloys: A Comparative Study Using DOE

Ahmed Samir Mohamed El-Said Abdel Aziz;

Abstract

The work in this thesis distinguished based on comparing the impacts of two welding processes, the traditional process ‘RSW’ which depends on generating the heat used in welding by electrical resistance, and the other process ‘FSSW’ which generate the heat mechanically on the maximum breaking force and quality of the dissimilar aluminum alloys welded joint.
