The purpose of this study was to investigate if IV intralipid 20% can increase rate of live birth in women with raised NK cells.
This was a randomized doubly blinded controlled study of 200 women with unexplained RPL who underwent endometrial immunohistochemical studies and shows raised level of uNK and was given IV intralipid 20% in RPL clinic of Ain Shams University Hospital.
Before beginning treatment with IV intralipid, endometrial sample have been taken mid luteal and was analyzed revealing raised level of uNK cells ≥5% of stromal cell.
