AN APPROACH TOWARDS ECOLOGICAL TRANSFORMATION OF URBAN WATERFRONT CITIES “The North west Coast of Egypt (NWC)” With reference to “The Development of “New Alamein Eco-city”.

Abstract

This research aims to study the phenomenon of ecological transformation of urban waterfront. It contributes to achieve sustainable development in The North west Coast of Egypt and boosting growth in its cities in a move to raise living standards. Also, aims at making use of resources to carry out ventures in the different sectors of the economic, environmental and social changes through focusing upon its culture background and urban transformation. In order to enhance the sense of community and the connection with the natural world, protect natural systems, establishing magnet projects, and tourism along with upgrading a number of harbours there and sustainable to be a model of “ecological” development specially in New Alamein city.
