SUI is the involuntary loss of urine 011 physical exertion. It causes major embarrassment and depression to many women. SUI can result from either urethral hypcrmobiiity or intrinsic sphincteric dysfunction. Evaluation includes history, physical examination, laboratory investigations, ascending and micturating cystourethrography and urodynamic evaluation. Many lines of therapy are available including surgical, non surgical and circumventing the problem. The aim of our work was to evaluate the anterior rectus sheath and the anterior vaginal wall slings as different modalities in the treatment of SUI.
