Pollution of groundwater, that represents an important source of water, would create hazards to public health through toxicity and spread of diseases. So, the present dissertation is important and necessary for assessing the problem sources and understanding the mechanics of its spread, then investigating the effect of several remediation methods. The study case of sewage treatment plant in Makkah is considered. Several alternatives had been studied using numerical modeling to stop contaminant spread. The study has been performed using three-dimensional numerical simulation by the model MT3D.
