Abstract


Ortho Keratology is the use of rigid gas permeable contact lenses overnight during sleep to reshape the cornea hence changes the refraction of the eye.
The aim of the study was to investigate the efficacy of overnight correction of myopia during the use of Ortho Keratology.
This study included 15 patients who underwent full ophthalmic examination.
In terms of success rate, the comparison between unaided pre usage of the lens and post usage was statistically significant and most patients reached the desired effect and unaided visual acuity..
