Hend Eweis Saad;
Abstract
Pregnancy is the period of time when a fetus develops inside a woman's uterus and ends with the birth of the infant. There are a variety of clinical laboratory tests typically used prior to throughout pregnancies. The tests provide useful information from the time pregnancy is first considered through the initial days of the newborn's life. Pregnancy is a normal life event that involves considerable physical and psychological adjustments for the mother. A pregnancy is divided into three trimesters of 13 weeks each (Davis, 2016).
