Effect of Learning Environment on Students Satisfaction in Faculty of Nursing at Ain Shams University

Abstract

The quality of the learning environment is crucial for effective learning. The physical, academic, social, and psychological characteristics of the institutional environment determine student enrollment and retention. However, the extent to which student’s perception of their learning environment has a direct impact on their academic outcomes remains unclear. Moreover, student satisfaction has become one of the major goals of all higher educational institutions. Hence, a better understanding of the factors influencing student satisfaction is important for higher education institutions since it is one of targets of quality assurance and accreditation in higher education.
