Effect of Organizational Climate on Burnout among Nurse Educators

Abstract
Background: Attention to the physical and mental health of nurse educators is one of the most important tasks of nursing Institutions and Create a friendly atmosphere and support of educators by nursing Institutions can decrease nurse educators' burnout. Aim of study: This study aims to investigate the effect of organizational climate on burnout among nurse educators. Subjects and methods: A descriptive design was utilized to carry out the present study. This study was carried out in nursing institutes affiliated to Ismailia governorate (Ismailia, Fayed, AL- Mostakbal town, EL-Tallelkabeer, and the west Kantara institutes. All nurse educators (70) were included in the study. Results: The result shows that more than half of nurse educators had age ranged between 30-<40 years old and most of them were married. Also, more than one third of them had children from one to two children. Almost, more than three fourth had no enough monthly income and more than three fourth of nurse educators have bachelor education. Meanwhile, more than one third of them have >10 years of experience. the current study findings display that Burnout was linked with numerous problems for both persons afflicted by it, as well as for organizations in which those afflicted individuals work. Conclusion: In the light of the current study findings, it was concluded that there is effect of organizational climate on burnout among nurse educators. also, there were statistically significant relationship between the organizational climate and the nurse educator's burnout. in addition to, there were a strong relationship between Age, Marital status, Number of children, Monthly income, Education, Experience and burnout of nurse educators. Recommendation: Based on the findings of this study, the following recommendations are proposed: regular staff meeting to explain organizational climate and burnout. And preparing for workshops to meet specific individual need to prevent incidence of burnout inside nursing institutions.
