Abstract

A stroke is the most common neurological disorder in the aspects of both morbidity and mortality. It is the third leading cause of disability in the world and the second leading cause of death in the world. Most strokes are caused by an abrupt blockage of arteries leading to the brain (ischemic stroke), and bleeding into brain tissue when a blood vessel bursts (hemorrhagic stroke).
