Abstract
Abstract
Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is one of the most common joint-related autoimmune diseases that affect the physical and psychosocial wellbeing of the patients and a major cause of work disability. Current drugs for RA treatment only provide palliative effect, as cure for the disease still remains elusive. The present study aimed to evaluate the possible anti-inflammatory capability of manganese bionanoparticles (MnBNPs) either alone or along with low dose whole body γ-irradiation against inflammatory cascade in adjuvant-induced arthritis model in rats.
