Assessment of Liver Damage and toxicity following allogeneic hemopoietic stem cell transplantion(SCT) with Acoustic radiation force impulse (ARFI) and its relation to development of hepatic GVHD

Abstract
ematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) is the transplantation of multipotent hematopoietic stem cells, usually derived from bone marrow, peripheral blood, or umbilical cord blood. It may be autologous (the patient's own stem cells are used), allogeneic (the stem cells come from a donor) or syngeneic (from an identical twin) (Park et al., 2015).
It is a medical procedure in the field of hematology, most often performed for patients with certain cancers of the blood or bone marrow such as Acute myeloid leukemia (AML), Chronic myeloid leukemia (CML), Acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL), Hodgkin lymphoma (HD) (relapsed, refractory), Non-Hodgkin (NHL) (relapsed or refractory) lymphoma Multiple Myeloma Myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS) or Non-malignant as Thalassemia Sickle Cell Anemia Aplastic anemia Fanconi anemia Immune deficiency syndromes Inborn errors of metabolism (Park et al., 2015).
Autologous HSCT requires apheresis of haematopoietic stem cells (HSC) from the patient and cryopreservation of the harvested cells. The patient is then treated with high-dose chemotherapy with or without radiotherapy for eradicating the patient's malignant cell population at the cost of partial or complete bone marrow ablation. Stored stem cells are then transfused into his/her bloodstream, where they replace
