Abstract


usculoskeletal injuries are disorders that affect the human body's movement or musculoskeletal system e.g. bones, muscles, tendons, ligaments, nerves and blood vessels. Children with complex pediatric problems are best managed by medical-surgical team approach. Immobility has series consequences physically and psychologically. Immobility for long period affected on each system (musculoskeletal system, cardiovascular system, respiratory system, gastrointestinal system, genitourinary system, integumentary system and neurosensory system.
Subjects and Methods
This study was aimed to assess the effect of postoperative immobility on physical and psychological wellbeing of children with musculoskeletal injuries.
