Abstract
This study was performed to evaluate the effect of Er,Cr:YSGG and diode LASERs on the bone formation and crestal bone loss around immediately placed dental implants.
Twelve patients were selected from the outpatient clinic of prosthodontic Department, Faculty of Dentistry, Ain Shams University.
Patients were randomly divided into 2 groups:
Group I: Six patients received two conventional implants inserted immediately in fresh extraction sockets after sequential drilling of the apical portion of the sockets.
