SMART CARD ANONYMOUS AUTHENTICATION PROTOCOLFOR FOG COMPUTING SYTEMS

Abstract

Due to increasing number of users around the world some disadvantages appeared such as latency and limited control and flexibility, so there was the need to new solution to overcome these obstacles that will increase day by day, so it comes the idea of Fog Computing which is making another layer between the cloud and users which called the Fog Computing layer. One of the considerable difficulties facing the Fog Computing is security,as authentication is the first step to achieve security. Thus, a secure and an efficient authentication scheme is required for Fog Computing systems. Themain objective of this thesis is to improve anonymous authentication scheme in Fog Computing by generating a complete solution for the authentication scheme to enhance the security level and to improve the efficiency.
