Abstract


Reengineering is both the fundamental and ultimate tool of change. I Reengineering addresses the business process, which is the means by which work is done, whether by people or machines. Business Process Reengineering

methodology involves three main phases: preliminary study phase, analysis phase, and finally reengineering phase. The thesis presented the sequential steps that formalize the structure of these three phases then an application of Business Process Reengineering concept was the main objective to systemize the operations and business processes of a large organization in Egyptian construction industry. Business Activity Map was the graphical technique used to create work flow models for the operations and business processes of the
I selected organization.


6-2 Conclusions: -



As organizations grow to be larger and their operations and business process become more complex, it is essential to be periodically reviewed. Reengineering provides the tools to detect the current state, to detect internal problems, and to implement required changes needed to systernize and streamline operations within the organization to match new circumstances that emerge as a result of its growth. The graphical tools provided by reengineering such as Business Activity Map are essential for explaining the relationships
