Abstract
Degenerative rnyopia shows to be •cihe of the most common causes of blindness in the world. Jt is considered as either a biomechanical _abnormality or, a genetically determined abiotrophic process.
Posterior staphyloma increases with axial length and consists of thinning of longitudinal collagen fibers with change in• composition and other myopic features increas•e with its depth.
Chorioretinal atrophy when covering the macula, they tmpatr vision, by follow up with fluorescein and ICG the'y show progression with time toward the macula, perip4ery and in all direction.
