Abstract
Wound healing Process and Scars are still a nightmare for the surgeon and the patient as well, because of the large number and wide variability of factors affecting the process itself. Plasma is an advanced wound therapy showed a positive alteration on the process of wound healing outcome by having highly concentrated autologous platelets that release numerous growth factor, cytokines and fibrin which may be valuable in improving the whole wound healing process.
Plasma injection is a very promising futuristic therapy and can be superior to PRP injection having more abundant growth factors, fibrin and healing promoters. It is a vehicle to deliver large amount of many growth factors which are biologically active to the injury site.
