supply especially that of animal source so governments gave great care to poultry production including rabbits . In Egypt great attention has

been given to rabbit breeding in the last few years due to its white easily digestable meat which made it recommended for sicand convalescent
people .Rabbits give large number of litters with average 8-10 every

which is time of slaughter .Inaddition , rabbits have a high economic value for medical and biological industries which give great attention for raising clean colonies as laboratory animals. Also rabbit fur is used in decorating purpose with several colours and sizes . Although the continuous development in rabbit industry , there are severe problems caused by parasitic infection which cause great mortality rate especially in young ones and decrease immunity of rabbits to some bacterial or viral diseases where these parasitic infections were considered as predisposing factors to these diseases . So for all these preceding causes we found that it was important to perform this research . This study was carried on 190 rabbits of different ages (ranged from one month up to
2years )of different sex and different breeds as follows ( 90 rabbits as Balady + 35 rabbits as Neozeland + 35 rabbits as Chinchilla+ 20 rabbits as Rex + I 0 rabbits as Bobion breed) and their sources from farmers and markets and from private owned rabbitries and this study was carried from March 2004 to February 2005(for one year) and these rabbits were brought alive to Department of Parasitology , Faculty of Veterinary
