Abstract


Cerebral palsy (CP) describes a group of disorders of posture and movement that occur as a result of a non-progressive disturbance in the developing fetal or infant brain .Balance is an important element of a children with spastic CP which describe the ability of the child to safely and independently function in a variety of environments. Environmental adaptation and social participation of children CP is influenced by both their functional skills and environmental factors despite these children generally participate in less physical activity than their able-bodied peers but still better environment and that a supportive, accessible environment is a predictor of better life. Measures normed for children with cerebral palsy (CP) enable families and professionals to monitor development based on expectations for children of the same age and functional level. CP refers to a group of neurological disorders affecting the development of posture and movement that are often accompanied by disturbances of sensation, cognition, communication, perception, and behavior .Children with CP demonstrate considerable variation in development as evidenced by the gross motor function manual ability and communication function classification systems.
