Abstract
Breast-feeding is the nutritional source of choice as recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), the Canadian Pediatric Society, and the American Academy of Family Physicians. Caregivers should always respect the choice of the mother and support her during her bonding period with her newborn infant (Kellerman and Rake, 2019).
Aim of the study:
This study will aim to assess the mothers’ reported practices for continuation of breastfeeding for their high risk neonates during hospitalization and identify factors that influence such practice.
Research questions:
What are the mothers' reported practices for continuation of breastfeeding for their high risk neonates during hospitalization?
What are the factors that influence mothers' reported practices for continuation of breastfeeding for their high risk neonates during hospitalization?
Aim of the study:
