Abstract


The concept of irrational thoughts is an important psychological variable in the field of psychology and due to its importance in influencing the ideas of the individual, which may cause the growth of negative attitudes that affect the child's emotions and behavior. Self-confidence as an important variable of mental health variables is one of the important emotional characteristics that play a fundamental role in the lives of individuals and in achieving their psychological compatibility, which is a strong predictor of the mental health of the individual. Moreover, this study has been conducted to reveal the nature of the relationship between irrational ideas and self-confidence in a sample of children with dyslexia.
