Abstract


The Arabic language possesses a distinct position among other subjects because of its important role in achieving the direct contact between the pupil and his environment. Grammar has an important position in our Arabic language, the status of grammar in language sciences is as important as constitution in modern laws because it’s considered its pillar and supreme constitution, it is the origin of its help, inspired by its soul and follows to it in the great issues of the branches of legislation, and you will never find a separated science from grammar or renounces its aid or is not guided by its light (Mustafa Raslan 2005, p. 26).
When language is a system of communication between humans, grammar, in any language, is the structure and framework of this system, it is one of the main features of the distinction between a language and another, especially with regard to the form imposed by grammar in terms of compositions, although the possession of verbal skills written language is the purpose of its education, grammar is the means to achieve this target (Mohamed Alaa Eddin Hilmi Shuaibi 1999, p. 1,2), grammatical rules are of great importance within the language system; as the student is unable to express correctly without mastering the grammatical rules. Mastering the grammatical rules enables the student to use words and sentences correctly, this is a crucial and necessary thing for Arabic language because parsing is an indicator of meaning and support for the beauty of the language (Marwan Ahmed Mohammed 2007 p. 24).
Grammar has some basic functions related to the role that it plays in the field of language performance, as it insures the correctness of the expression and its meaning, its understanding without being ambiguous, it also helps in the beauty of quality and accuracy of its style, the development of scientific thinking skills, the correct use of words, sentences and phrases; so the students adapt correct language habits. (Ziyabah Said Al-Sulaiti 2002).Grammar rules are not separately taught as it is clear that the aim of grammar is the correctness of the linguistic performance such as listening, speaking, reading and writing, this is the normal field for grammar and without it grammar becomes in vain
