Abstract

The phenomenon of dependence on psychoactive substances considers one of the most serious psychological and social problems affecting the world in general and the Egyptian society in particular. Egypt in particular is the most vulnerable to this problem, due to its geographical location among the countries producing these psychoactive substances in the East and spread out of Heroin in the West, which reflects the seriousness of this problem in its prevalence among adolescents and the extent of their use of many substances of drugs and the impact on the person who abuse those substances. Drug abuse is spread among all segments of society and between different strata, since substance abuse does not to rely on a particular age or specific age stage or a particular class, level of education or a particular culture. One of the most negative traits that affect human life is anger that is practiced and stored for years and years, which is renewed with every situation that provokes this anger and intensifies it. Anger loses the human being his/her balance and the ability to perceive; so, he can’t find proper explanations but the negative explanations, losing capacity and flexibility of performance. Thus, with every situation that carries anger, cognition is renewed and loses the ability to regulate anger or contain the situation and address it in a positive way.
