Abstract

Tourism is a science and industry. It is an important productive sector in the economy of many countries; either it is a developed or a developing country. Tourism characterized by its economic activity, because it is a source of income by the foreign currency, which is used to push the cycle of development forward. Tourism in Egypt still one of the developing sources, which grow to a great extent, because of the numerous element of tourism that fit the needed kinds of tourism internationally. Such as archeological tourism, different kinds of cultural tourism, religious tourism which attract a great number of tourists, therapeutic, business, sport, and marine tourism. Historically; the growth and development of tourism depends on the interaction between tourism and the environment. For example: moderate climate and terrains like mountains, lakes, desert, beaches and springs are one of the most important elements which attract tourists. This element helps in increasing the basis of tourism, as it is a mean to a physical and psychological comfort to humans. Recently scholars and experts of tourism begin to care of the mutual impact between tourism and environment. The environment consists of three systems: 1- Political systems. 2- Economical systems. 3- Social systems. Tourism sector is one of the most sectors of Egyptian economy affected by the environmental factors as it is considered an important source of foreign currency.
