Abstract

IUCDs are the most acceptable and popular methods of fertility regulation. The commonest reasons for discontinuation of use are abnormal uterine bleeding and pain. This study was carried out on 100 cases selected from regularly menstruating women who came to family planning center in El Tall El Kabir central hospital and in Ismailia University Hospital from June 1996 to December 1998.
