Abstract


The quality of production of computer numerical controlled machines is determined by the contour error, which is a function of how close is the actual contour to the desired contour. One method to reduce the contour error is the use of Cross Coupling Controller (CCC) which was introduced by Koren. This thesis presents the study and experimental implementation of CCC to a bi-axial machine. This machine is in the Automatic Control Lab of the Electrical Power Engineering Department of the Faculty of Engineering - Cairo University.
