Abstract


Two ceramic materials indicated for thin laminate veneers were used in this study e-max from ivoclar and lisi from gc
The purpose of the present study was to evaluate the color production of two lithium disilicate materials: lithium disilicate (A2) and initial lithium disilicate (A2), Constructed in three different thicknesses: 0.5mm , 0.7 mm,1 mm after thermocycling.
Each group will be cemented to a composite substrate shade (A2) by resin cement (translucent).
Then color measuring to all specimens was done.
All specimens were subjected to thermocycling 5000 cycle resembling 6 months in patient mouth.
Then quantitative measurement of color production was obtained by measuring CEILAB coordinates of specimen before and after thermocycling.
Color result: numerical data were explored by Kolmogorov-Smirnov and Shaprio-Wilk tests calculating mean and standard deviation . Two-way ANOVA and Turkeys test used to study the effect of different tested variables . the significance level p<0.05 .
