ABSTRACT
Mechanical ventilation (MV) is a common procedure and life- saving used to treat patients with respiratory failure. Aim: This study aims to evaluate the effect of self-learning package on nurses’ performance caring for patients on ventilators. Methods: A quasi-experimental study was conducted in critical care units: Intensive Care Unit; Respiratory Intensive Care Unit and Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit at Ain-Shams University Hospitals.
