Abstract
Female circumcision entails removal of some parts of the external genitalia. In this study 150 cases of females all of
• them in child bearing period, were chosen and classified into circumcised (100) and uncircumcised (50). Circumcised
• group was further classified either according to their origin,
whether from rural or urban area, or according to their education level.First and 2nd degree F.C represents 96% of circumcised women while 3rd degree was present only in
4 %(none practice 4th degree in Egypt it was found also that
2nd & 3rd degree are more common in rural areas ( 52% ) . The degree ofF.C is related also to level of education as 3rd degree F.C had done only to illiterate women with considerably high percentage ( 33.3%), but non in this
