Abstract

Following single oral administration of 240 mg bephenium hydroxynaphthoate/kg b. wt. in 5 lactating goats, the maximum pI as ma concentration ( 1 3.424 11g/m I) was achieved after 24 hours post administration. then decreased gradually to reach its lowest detectable level (0 152 tg/ml) at 144 hours.

The pharmacokinetic parameters of bephe111um Ill goats after a single oral dose revealed a Kab of (0 U471f\ t 0 51 abJ ( 15 28h), Cmax (14.41 11g/ml), tmax (25.16h-1 ), Kel (0 040 h- 1 ), losr0l (1745h), and Cl 101 was (3.56 ml/kg/min).
