Incidence of Clironic Prostatitis Among Varicocele patients
Amr Mohamed Ali EI-Sherif;
Abstract
Many theories attempting to explain the etiology of varicocele are
' I
put like congenital absence of venous values, length of left testicular vein
than the right vein, nutcracker effect, presence of a right angle between left internal spermatic vein and left renal vein and retro-aortic renal ven theories. So most of men with varicocele have abnormal seminogram due to effect of temp dture, hypoxia, etfect of toxic metabolites and
increased blood flow to testis.
' 'I
Prostate i's in important organ in male genital system, it has many
important functions as secretion of zinc, citric acid, cholesterol,
I
'
' polyamines, prostasomes, proteolytic enzymes transferrin which are
importa'nt fix fertility.
Prostatitis syndrome Is a very common pathology, its true incidence is difficult to establish, not only because there are ,no reliable data in literature, but also due to diJlcrent classifications and diagnostic crieteria. It can be classified according to presents of WBCs, culture of bacteria to acute bacterial prostatitis, chronic bacterial prostatitis, chronic abacterial prostatitis and asymptomatic inflammatory prostatitis
This work is done to study the incidence of chronic prostatitis among varicocele patients and to evaluate the existence of correlation
between chronic prostatitis syndrome and varicocele.
