Abstract
Abstract:
Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer related deaths worldwide. Adenocarcinoma (AC) and squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) are the two most common histological sub-types of lung cancer. We have to differentiate between these two sub-types, because this determines the eligibility of the patient for specific molecular testing and therapeutic strategies.
