La ricerca di libertà in Una donna di Sibilla Aleramo e Carte private di una femminista di Latifa Al-Zayyat

Mohamed, Salama Abdelmoneim Eid;

Abstract

In this research, we chose to conduct a comparative study between the two novels "The Woman" by the Italian writer Sibylla Aleramoe and "Personal Papers" by the Egyptian writer Latifa Al-Zayyat,, this choice was due to the presence of some similarities in the lives of the two writers. Every writer lived the historical and social conditions in her community. They had the ability to react positively through their literary works. Both tried to be free from the restrictions that hinder their freedom. Every writer thought to tell her biography through the historical and social context of the world in which she lives. Every writer has proven that she represents a female phenomenon in her society, with the words and advice she provided that still have an effective impact on community issues and the liberation of women.
