Abstract

A receiver for 900MHz global system for mobile communication (GSM) is described. It is an important part of tranceiver design. The circuit dissipates less power, includes channel selection, and integrates passive components. The receiver performs image rejection with a on-chip analog circuit. The BiCMOS6M process is used for the fabrication of the receiver IC. Noise Figure (NF) of the receiver is calibrated at 10 MHz. The total frequency response of the receiver is measured.
