Abstract
Istaran god one of the important gods in ancient Mesopotamia, and its role was Justice god, as the ancient Mesopotamian imagined at all Historical times from the beginning old Sumerian period till the new Assyrian kingdom, there are a lot of inscriptions related with Ishteran god dated to Entemena, Lugal-zagizi, Shulgi, Asshur-ahi-adin, etc. Gudea king who dedicated to Ishteran a great shrine in Ningirsu temple
