The research relied on the descriptive approach, where a list of geospatial skills that must be developed for secondary stage students was built in addition to a list of the most important applications of geospatial information technology that must be available in geography curricula at the secondary level, then a paradigm was set for developing the curriculum of the secondary second grade, “Development Geography” in the light of geospatial information technology in terms of the intellectual foundations and premises on which this paradigm depends, and in terms of curriculum elements that include: objectives, content, teaching strategies learning activities and resources, and assessment methods. Finally, the research concluded by providing a set of recommendations and proposals related to the importance of developing geography curricula in the different academic stages, especially the secondary stage to prepare a generation that has the knowledge, ability, and will implement the visions and plans of future development in Egypt and work to develop them in light of the available information and potentials and the future vision that we aspire to achieve.
