Compromising of Resolution and Contrast Using Quadratic Aperture in Scanning Holographic Imaging
Hamed, Abdallah;
Abstract
We propose a quadratic aperture in the formation of the scanning of holographic images in order to get further improvement in resolution as compared with a circular aperture.
In addition, the image contrast using the quadratic apertures is discussed. In this study, the Zika virus image is applied. The obtained reconstructed images in case of scanning holography
are investigated and compared with the corresponding images obtained in the case of uniform circular aperture.
