Abstract
The study aims to identify the most important determinants of the food gap of cereals as well as importation. To achieve this, it is through: Studying some of the current economic aspects of the cereals production sector in Egypt during the period 1995-2014. Econometric estimation of the effect of the most important determinants of cereal demand and supply in Egypt. Predicting the behavior of the economic variables from the cereals demand and supply model in Egypt.
