Abstract
The term plasma cell-rich rejection (PCRR) was recently used to replace that of de novo autoimmune hepatitis by the 2016 Comprehensive Update of the Banff Working Group on Liver Allograft Pathology, which introduced the notion of Antibody-Mediated Rejection. However, the clear pathophysiology and actual incidence of plasma cell-rich acute rejection after liver transplantation remain unclear and need further investigation. Here, we report a case of plasma cell-rich rejection after living donor liver transplantation (LDLT) with an adequate response to pulse steroids.
