Abstract


The current research aimed to identify the features of learning organizations in contemporary administrative thought in terms of its concept, importance and most prominent characteristics and dimensions, and to identify the theoretical foundations of institutional excellence in terms of the concept of excellence and its importance and most prominent characteristics and dimensions and justifications for the universities' orientation towards institutional excellence and the requirements to achieve it and provide some recommendations and procedural proposals to the Egyptian universities in order to achieve their institutional distinction in the light of the dimensions of learning organizations. The current research used the descriptive approach to study the problem and reached in its results a set of procedural recommendations and proposals for Egyptian universities in order to achieve their institutional distinction, including: Increasing interest in the dimensions of learning organizations, especially after enabling individuals to have a collective collective vision and learning teams and linking the organization to its environment due to its fundamental role in raising the level, And achieving a balance between the interest of the university and its beneficiaries
