Abstract

he eye and kidney share striking structural, developmental, physiological, and pathogenic pathways. There is a structural analogy between the glomerular vascular network and the choroidal circulation. HD corrects the composition and volume of body fluids. With HD, lots of alterations occur in patients' haemostasis and metabolic parameters. These alterations effect eye and may cause some pathologies such as refractive changes, dry eye, band keratopathy and some neuro-ophthalmologic complications
