Abstract

SLE is an auto immune disease characterized by the presence of
multiple auto antibodies e.g (nuclear and cell surface autoantibodies)
Surface determinants on lymphocyte and other cells on the immune
system develop frequently in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus
(SLE) particularly during period of active disease, such autoantibodies
have been associated with lymphopenia, lymphocyte subset distortions
and various abnoramlieties of T-cells, B-cells and monocytes. Of special
interest in this regard are autoantibodies to CD45 and its isformrs
specially CD45RA which known as leukocyte common antigen as or T
200.
