RISK ASSESSMENT OF USING PHOTOVOLTAIC SYSTEMS IN EGYPTIAN AIRPORTS

Sohair Mohamed Saad Elsayed;

Abstract

Airports are large consumers of electricity and have pollution rates that they always seek to reduce to the internationally stipulated rates. Many airports around the world have implemented photovoltaic projects. This thesis studies the risks associated with the application of the solar cell systems inside airports. The survey aimed to determine the degree of awareness of risks. The thesis contains recommendations for necessary training plans. As a whole, the Egyptian airports are fully prepared to apply solar cell systems.
