The Effect of Heparin Injection into Cut Ends of Flexor Tendon Zone II Injuries

Ahmed Mahmoud Abd Elkader Gadallah;

Abstract

btaining good functional outcomes after flexor tendon repair in zone II has always become a challenge due to being crowded by the FDP (Flexor Digitorum Profundus) and the two slips of the FDS (Flexor Digitorum Superficialis) within a tight fibro-osseous tunnel, thus increasing the possibility of postoperative adhesions leading to a decrease in the postoperative range of motion. Methods of primary flexor tendon repair are continuously being modified till today.
