Abstract

• Background Due to Egypt faces several challenges in its resources such as (row material , Energy, Water) which are the main pillars for industrial development , it was very important to develop environmental impact that could generated from industry area specially in Food and beverage sector which is very digestive for energy , water and generate a lot of waste that has a bad environmental effect from waste generated (Solid, liquid ) and find opportunity to improve supply chain. • Objective The objective of this proposal is to define a pathway to unlock the environmental factors that governing Sustainable industrial area and create awareness and to demonstrate the opportunities and benefits of low carbon and climate resilient development in the manufacturing and related productive food sectors through application of Green Industry (GI) Green Economy (GE) and Green Growth (GG) that will lead to reduce Green House Gas emissions also it will create more environmental jobs, improve Resource Efficiency and Cleaner Production (RECP) technologies and strengths supply chain specially for waste that generated from food industry. • Why food Sector the Egyptian Food sector is considered to be one of the oldest sectors in the economy, and it is characterized by having large private ownership, most of the formal establishments in the sector are privately owned (General Authority for Investment, GAFI 2014). The agribusiness sector is composed mainly of 10 product groups: milk and dairy products, oils and oil by-products, beverages drinks and bottled water, fruits and vegetables products, confectionary and chocolates, meats and poultries and fish, specialty food and food additives, grinding and flour, rice polishing and pasta industry – macaroni.
