URBAN SPACES ATTACHED TO SECONDARY SCHOOLS TOWARDS A RESPONSIVE ENVIRONMENT
Sarah Mahmoud Ahmed Ahmed;
Abstract
The school is considered as a backbone of society, as it contributes to creating a conducive atmosphere for pupils' mental, physical, emotional, and social growth. Accordingly, the school's role is not limited to the school building only, but their surrounding urban open spaces. The research problem lies in ignoring the design of urban spaces surrounding the secondary schools in which pupils practice many activities, which entails random activities appearing in these spaces to suit their needs.
