Abstract

Socialization is one of the basic processes in human life; its importance lies in the fact that it transforms the individual from a weak and helpless creature to a personality capable of interacting in the social environment that contains it. It also helps the individual move from dependence on others and self-centeredness in the early stages of his life to Independence and self-reliance through the progressive stages of his life. It is a comprehensive process of lifelong learning that has a central influence on the behavior, beliefs, and actions of young and old. Through which, the individual learns how to become a member of society by acquiring the language, standards, values and principles of society, and learns how to perform its various social roles (Haggi, 2015, p. 133).
